14 Oct, 2015 - West Coast antiques dealer and fine art frame artisan, Bernard Vandeuren, will present a collection of exceptional European antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries at the annual San Francisco Antiques Show including furniture from Austria with multiple, delicate inlays and a French “Mazarin” desk from the 18th century Regency era.
This is Vandeuren’s second year at the prestigious West Coast antiques fair. Highlights include:
• Armoire: a magnificent 18th century Austrian antique with multiple walnut inlays.
• Dresser: a 19th century commode from Austria with multiple inlays on drawers and top of the chest.
• French “Mazarin” desk from the 18th century with multiple inlays of Sycamore, walnut and various precious woods.
A passionate collector of French, continental and Beidermeier antiques, Vandeuren established his antiques store in the heart of Los Angeles in 2002. His selection of pedigreed fine European antiques is carefully curated and hand selected during his trips to Europe. “I’m my toughest client,” explains Vandeuren, “because I want only the highest quality antiques – unique and jaw dropping.”
