DAY 2

Brands including Mister Triple X “Vortex”, Just Bones Boardwear, and Koco Blaq entertained guests with a delightfully playful & sexy presentation of resortwear, coastal ready fashions, and of course beach looks that were out of this world!  Mister Triple X presented their SS2016 “Vortex” collection that featured some stunning metallics of silver, golds, bold custom printed textiles for both men & women.  styled with seducing custom bunny ears and footwear provided by Hades & EMMETT which helped celebrity stylist Tyler McDaniel complete Vortex’s presentation.  Just Board Boneswear seduces us with  their SS/2016 collection “Surf The World.”

Creating unique lifestyle apparel,  designer Jennifer Weisman revolutionizes the boardshort with her patented adjustable waist ~ every boardshort has the perfect fit. Designed with specialty fabrics, the most iconic surf destinations across the globe inspired her newest collection. Guests were captivated by fresh prints, vintage and textured color block boardshorts for men and sexy booty cut shorts for girls.  Koco Blaq’s tiki inspired collection was not only fun but also delivered a “VACATION IS ALL I EVER WANTED” feel to the showcase that evening.  From their bold patterns to their elaborate execution, Koco Blaq engaged the audience and took everyone to that island that one can only dream of.

From cute exotic styles for women to delicious “barely covered” looks for men, guests were definitely satisfied and pleased in what came down the runway as a Koco Blaq show is always a crowd pleaser.

DAY 4

Art Hearts Fashion bid adieu to fashion with a closing night featuring organic lifestyle brand Amren Tulano, edgy & hipster designs by MICHAEL NGO, Mister Triple X ready to wear collection “One Rose,” and Amato Haute Couture by Furne One.  With all eyes on the runway, designers amazed guests with looks ranging from delicate intimates made from the finest organic materials to fun edgy styles to hauntingly spectacular detailed couture.  Utilizing organic and other eco-friendly materials in their creations.  Amren Tulano presented this season,  “Love Whispers” SS 2016 which took you on a nostalgic journey into the playroom of modern romance to re-live the ethereal fantasy of femininity, innocence, and love. LA based & Pop Culture’s designer Michael Ngo debuted his sophomore RTW SS2016 runway collection titled “Sovereigns of the Sea” during Art Hearts Fashion LAFW Edition.

The edgy street-luxe collection is inspired by Poseidon & his wife Amphitrite, King and Queen of the sea, and how they represent one’s claim of sovereignty by conquering the deep “Sea” – a metaphor for the future unknown.

The SS16 runway showcased ready-to-wear womenswear, as well as Michael Ngo’s menswear debut. The aura of the collection is a juxtaposition of scuba-sports-luxe meets urban-sea-glamour. Featuring the versatility of techno knits & wonder mesh along with the street style sophistication of coated neoprene and metallic fabrics finishing off with patent leather, vinyl trims, sequins and Swarovski stones.  Michael Ngo’s eye for detail is impeccable and the presentation at Art Hearts Fashion will be a vessel for the complete body of work which is sure to deliver excitement and entertainment.

Sovereigns of the Sea not only embodies strength & sexuality but it will inspire others to channel their inner King & Queen to conquer the future. Amato Haute Couture served the audience with spectacular visuals blended with a divine soundtrack of French laces & tulle, stretch & acid washed denims, along with some added remarkable details that brought to life a wondrous Penny Dreadful – like vibe for everyone who attended to experience.  This season Amato teamed up with exotic-to-die for shoes by Hades Footwear & EMMETT Shoes to complete the hauntingly wicked presentation which closed out with Dina wearing a custom styled wig by Rock Star Wigs.
