Murrieta CA - On September 1 2015, Brandon Wareham launched a Kickstarter campaign for Mr Sinky, a toothbrush holder that prevents germs, bacteria and fecal matter from accumulating on toothbrushes.
“My four year old daughter Leila and I have been through a lot together this last year, we lost her one year old little brother Mason, August 2014. The medical bills lead to bankruptcy; we were forced to sell our house in Moreno Valley, CA. The thing about losing everything is that you find yourself with nothing to lose,” says Wareham, “I’m always telling Leila my daughter, that with a little effort she can accomplish her dreams, and this year seemed like a good year to start practicing what I preach. The crowdfunding community has poured out support and we are so grateful for the positive feedback of our supporters.”
Mr. Sinky allows you to easily store your toothbrush submerged in alcohol without getting it wet, in order to avoid getting germs, bacteria and fecal matter on your toothbrush. Wareham has had success selling Mr. Sinky but right now they are made one at a time, which is inefficient. Now, Brandon and his daughter are turning to Kickstarter for help. Once they raise the funds they need to set up a better workshop, they can focus on spreading the word, confident that they can easily fill the orders.
“This product launch represents a whole new chapter in our lives. The importance of having a sanitary place to store my toothbrush was driven home during our week’s long stay at San Diego Children’s hospital,” the creator adds, “It just didn’t seem safe having our brushes exposed to the open hospital air. Five months later Mr. Sinky was born. We’re confident that the general public will enjoy Mr. Sinky every bit as much as we do.”

Backers can also pledge $55 for a family pack of four or $90 for a pack of eight Mr. Sinky toothbrush protectors.
