London – October 27, 2017 – Last night, the Royal Air Force, along with a collection of key partners, successfully launched the RAF100 appeal, a major fundraising programme designed to mark the RAF’s centenary.
As part of 2018’s celebrations, a range of regional and national events will exemplify the Service’s illustrious past and showcase its bright future. A highlight of this programme will be RAF100 Interoperability Workshop.
Simon Collins, Chairman of the RAF100 Appeal stated, “The RAF and the four major charities are combining as one for this unique moment in history to commemorate the past 100 years since the formation of the RAF and look forward with confidence to a future of hope and opportunity for the entire RAF family”.
Air Marshal Sir Baz North echoed these sentiments, referencing RAF100 as a unique opportunity to create the impetus to start planning for the Air Force’s future.
As a key partner of RAF100 and RAF100 Interoperability Workshop, Challenge Advisory was in attendance of last night’s opening. Karveh Cavalieri, CEO of Challenge Advisory, stated:
“It is an honor to be involved with this milestone occasion. The range of speeches from leading members of the Service through to the cadets displayed just how inspiring RAF100 will be. It is imperative that the RAF uses this momentum and opportunity to prepare for the future. Not only is RAF100 an excellent opportunity to say, ‘thank you’ to the Air Force, it is a chance to better understand how we can all help the Service moving forwards.”
Along with Challenge Advisory, representatives from Babcock, Airbus, BAE, Fujitsu and Boeing were present at last night’s opening, reflecting the calibre of RAF100 and associated events.
Challenge Advisory are honored, humbled and excited to be involved.
