33 & BEYOND: THE ROYAL ART OF FREEMASONRY // TRICOAST ENTERTAINMENT
Johnny Royal’s ’33 & BEYOND: THE ROYAL ART OF FREEMASONRY’ features world famous producer, music supervisor, composer, re-recording mixer and Freemason, Sean Beavan.

Los Angeles, CA – October 11, 2017 – This Friday, The Masonic Auditorium (San Francisco, CA) will be holding Johnny Royal’s red carpet, world premiere for his feature length documentary, “33 & BEYOND: THE ROYAL ART OF FREEMASONRY” on October 13th as the first film to capture the history and experience of today’s Freemasons.

While exploring the Masonic Brotherhood’s timeless rituals and worldwide legacy, this revelatory documentary features the well-known producer, mixer, music supervisor, composer, and re-recording mixer, Sean Beavan. Best known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, Beavan is also recognized for his work with Lost Highway, Spawn, Dead to the World, Depeche Mode, Slayer, and System of A Down.

Recognized primarily for his role in the world of industrial and metal music, Beavan has successfully produced, mixed, and engineered renowned albums for seminal industrial band, Nine Inch Nails (“Broken”, “Fixed”, “The Downward Spiral”) and several for Marilyn Manson (“Portrait of an American Family”, “Antichrist Superstar, “Sweet Dreams”, “Mechanical Animals”, “Heart-Shaped Glasses”, “Eat Me, Drink Me”, “The High End of Low”).

Beavan’s use of distressed gear and heavily saturated guitars create unique and innovative sounds that lead to musical success on Guns N’ Roses’ “Chinese Democracy”(2008), and Shining’s 2010 critically acclaimed and genre creating “Blackjazz”. Not to be tied down to any one genre though, Beavan mixed Tommy Stinson’s (The Replacements, Guns N’ Roses) eclectic acoustic pop records “Village Gorilla Head” (2004) and “One Man Mutiny” (2011), and expanded his genre palette with exceptional work on No Doubt’s “Return Of Saturn” (2000), “The Singles 1992-2003” and “Boom Box” (2008).

Beavan’s passion and talents led to the creation of the band 8mm. Along with his wife, vocalist and producer/actress Juliette Beavan, the duo have released 5 studio records including the 2006 Album “Songs To Love and Die By” and the 2012 album “Between the Devil and Two Black Hearts”. 8mm has been a music licensing juggernaut for over 10 years, having appeared on TV shows like Nip/Tuck, Lost Girl, Flash, Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, etc., and movies like “Mr. and Mrs. Smith, I Frankenstein, and the Underworld franchise. Continuing his legacy in all genres, Beavan also mixed actress Jill Hennessy’s country/folk album, “I Do” in 2015.

Beavan recently continued his foray into the film world as composer and sound designer with indie films including Royal’s striking and highly alluring documentary, “33 & BEYOND: THE ROYAL ART OF FREEMASONRY”. This revelatory documentary explores the meanings and symbolism behind the rituals of the world’s oldest secret society by delving into each degree of Freemasonry – from Entered Apprentice through Master Mason, York Rite, Knights Templar, Scottish Rite up to the 33rd Degree. Alongside enlightening interviews, some of today’s most prominent Freemasons provide answers to long-time questions about rituals, their devotion, and the unique culture of the Brotherhood.

Don’t miss your chance to join Sean Beavan and other Freemasons for the “33 & BEYOND: THE ROYAL ART OF FREEMASONRY” red carpet, world premiere on October 13, 2017 at The Masonic Lodge in San Francisco, CA at 9:00 P.M.

After the premiere, Beavan and featured Brothers will hold a Q&A to discuss their work on the documentary, and personal narratives of their own “hero’s quest”.
