CEO & President, Vanessa Braxton of Black Momma Brands Sponsored The Living Legends Foundation, Inc 21st Annual Awards Gala in Hollywood, CA

Vanessa Braxton issued an Autographed Limited Edition of Black Momma Vodka to the 2017 Honorees of the 21st Annual Living Legends Awards Gala.

Hollywood, CA – On October 10th, Vanessa Braxton, CEO and President of Black Momma Brands a division of B4MC Group, Inc., participated as a sponsor for  The Living Legends Foundation,® Inc. (LLF).   The 2017 Living Legends Awards was hosted by Rolonda Watts, a veteran broadcasting and media personality, author, and CEO of Watts Works Productions.  

The 2017 honorees included seven distinguished individuals: Varnell Johnson, CEO, Junes Entertainment and LLF President,  Morace Landy, Chief Marketing Strategist of Empire Distribution,  Steve Crumbley, Senior Vice President of Programming/Operations Manager of Apex Media Charleston,  Don Jackson, founder, Chairman, and CEO of Central City Productions, Inc., Ray Chew and Vivian Scott Chew, Partners of Chew Entertainment;, Tyrone Williams, Chairman of the Board, Brooklyn United/Former Chairman and CEO of Cold Chillin’ Records; and Larry Jackson, Head of Original Music Content of Apple Music.

The 2017 honorees continue to reflect the music and entertainment industries’ ever-changing and evolving businesses. The foundation’s core mission is to honor pioneers and professionals who have broken new ground in the areas of broadcasting, recorded music, and other allied fields, including publicity, marketing, and publishing. This year’s honorees include a progressive group of movers and shakers, as well as the legends who have led the way and created a pathway for the next generation of music creators and executives.”

The Living Legends Foundation,® Inc. is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization and has been funded primarily with corporate contributions and individual donations. The 26-year-old organization has expanded its mission to provide assistance to those who have served the music industry and who have a confirmable need.

Mrs. Braxton stated “These  Autographed Limited Edition Black Momma Vodka bottles were the last for 2017”  “The expansion of the  Black Momma Brands and the vision for 2018 in reaching a new level will constitute the legend of  Black Momma Vodka 2017 Limited Edition  release, Therefore, sponsoring the gifts this year was an obvious partnership for The Living Legends Foundation, Inc.

Mrs. Braxton attended public schools in Brooklyn, NY before earning a B.S. in Construction Management and Engineering from Pratt Institute. She later participated in the Executive Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and Consortium with MIT.

Before retiring, she worked in Corporate America and the Government-Industry managing construction and engineering contracts worth more than $350 million dollars annually.

In February 2013, she launched Black Momma Brands with a signature line of vodka. Mrs. Braxton became the first African-American woman to be an owner-operator of nationally distributed vodka in the U.S. Since then, the company has grown to include Black Momma Mixers,  Black Momma Teas, and Black Momma Flavored Agave.  In addition, Mrs. Braxton owns the only African–American woman-owned manufacturing facility. Manufacturing Tea Bags, Beverages, Syrups and consumable products which fall within the scope of Organic, Non-Gmo, Vegan, Gluten-free and Kosher certified.

In 2018 the build out of Black Momma Tea & Café flagship  store is in progress.
