Ever since they entered the music business in 2007, Mumford & Sons, which formed in London, have worked to become one of the most admired acts in music. The band consists of Marcus Mumford, Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane and in total they have released three studio albums, two live albums, and six extended play albums. Recently they announced their plans to hit the road for a North American tour that will mainly take place in April with their final date being in mid-June. The opening show of the tour will take place at one of the busiest venues in North America, The Woodlands Pavilion, and the final stop will be in Saratoga Springs, NY at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
With the release of their debut album, “Sigh No More,” Mumford and Sons became instant stars. To date the album has sold more than three million units in the United States earning Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America three times. The album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album charts and in 2012 released Babel which became their first No. 1 album in the States. Among their biggest hits their fans will hope to hear them perform live on tour next year include “Little Lion Man,” “I Will Wait,” “The Cave,” “Believe,” and “Babel.”
