Avignon, FR - On October 23 2015, MYLITTLEFACTORY.CO launched a Kickstarter campaign for X’TREMFISHROD, a compact fishing rod that follows you anytime anywhere for trekking, camping or street fishing and is a great addition to your survival equipment.
“This is the culmination of an idea that came while trekking in rainforest in Thailand where we walked along a river without being able to fish in case of necessity or just to enjoy fishing moments with friends,” the creators explain, “Once back home, we decided to design a fishing rod that can be easy carried in a pocket or backpack that includes the parts needed to fish in fresh and salt water.”
The distinctive design encloses all functions needed during fishing with the reel and its self-locking ring, the bobber, the lead-free sinker and the hook with its safe cap to protect you from injuries. X’TREMFISHROD also comes with a removable rod in fiber glass to make it strong, lightweight and as small as possible. For this Kickstarter campaign, the X’TREMFISHROD will be available in four colors: gray, blue, orange and green.
The X’TREMFISHROD has been developed, tested and made from high quality components selected in Provence, France. The team has already supported the development phase, now they need to cover the significant cost required for injection mold tooling, components, assembly and packaging.
“As French designers, we launched a crowdfunding campaign to promote X’TREMFISHROD™ and gather a community that can take part in this adventure, help us improve our product and share in the success of achieving the goal,” says the team, “There’s no better way of doing this than with the Kickstarter community because the platform attracts forward-thinking individuals and passionate people who really want to help make cool stuff happen. We would like to share our adventure with you.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including a limited edition bobber keychain for €5, a t-shirt for €12, one X’TREMFISHROD for the special Kickstarter price of €15 and more. Backers can also pledge €30 for one X’TREMFISHROD with a custom engraving, €55 for one of each color or choose one of two limited reseller tiers.
