The Morgan City Police Arrested two Women both residents of the city who were arguing with each other and eventually got each other arrested, according to the News published in http://theadvocate.com
Nsikan St. Martin who is a gynecologist and Obstetrician from Morgan City, called the Morgan City police to remove Alisa O. Marshall from her Marquis Manor subdivision home. The Morgan City gynecologist, St. Martin informed the Officers that they would find marijuana in Marshall’s vehicle, which was parked outside her home.
Marshall, 37, who is also a resident of the Marquis Manor subdivision, consented to a search, according to the Police Chief James Blair as posted in a news release.
“The Police arrested Marshall and were on their way to jail when she told the officers that she too had a story to tell them. She mentioned that she suspected marijuana could be located in the bedroom of St. Martin,” Blair said.
When the Police made the search in St. Martin’s home, they found much more than just marijuana in Nsikan St. Martin’s bedroom. They also confiscated Alprazolam and Methylphenidate drugs, that are illegal to possess without a prescription in the U.S.
Not only drugs, but the Officers also found and confiscated several firearms they found in the bedroom.
Dr. Nsikan St Martin who is just 32, was booked into the Morgan City jail on counts of possession of marijuana, Scheduled IV drug Alprazolam, Schedule II Methylphenidate, drug paraphernalia, firearms in the presence of illegal drugs, and violation of the controlled dangerous substance laws.
The other lady, Marshall was booked on counts of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, and violation of controlled dangerous substance laws.
Both women have been released on bail for now, according to the Officer, Blair.
