KIRKLAND, Washington – November 6, 2015 - “A Princess to Save Me” is a tactical, role-playing game with a main focus on story. It was recently announced by Drunk Dragon Games, and it puts players in the role of the “damsel in distress.” Players will play as Amelia, a kidnapped princess, whose savior dies on the way home and she get left on her own in the middle of nowhere. In order to survive and get home, she will have to learn to take care of herself, make her own decisions that affect both herself and the people around, and face the consequences they entail. The game is a conversation about vulnerability, love and a person’s perception of self. The decisions players make have a huge effect on pretty much every character they encounter during the game and ultimately decide their own fate as well.
“A Princess to Save Me” is a turn-based tactical role-playing game. Effectively, that means players control a party up to four characters, and they decide who those characters will be. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. The key to success is to choose companions with care and command them wisely. There is turn based combat which means every character can perform actions as long as they have action points. They can move, attack, use a skill or wait. Finally, as the game progresses, characters do too! They gain experience, become stronger and acquire new skills. However, before everyone can enjoy this fun RPG, Drunk Dragon Games needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $10,000 by December 2, 2015. The funds raised will go towards developing and completing the game.
