There is a World Series banner hanging here from their victory in 1985 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Games three through five will take place from Citi Field in Queens, NY. The venue first opened in 2009 and while the Mets haven’t won a World Series since moving there, the franchise has won two in their history in four chances.
