Production of high quality components reaches record high as demand outlook for its products trend higher

Shenzhen, China – DK Photonics, one of the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of high end fiber laser, fiber sensor and fiber optic components, including Cladding Power Stripper, Pump Combiner, Pump and Signal Combiner, and Mode Field Adapter solutions, provided its latest update on the status of customer orders.

The company announced that, based on orders booked so far, primarily for delivery by the end of the current calendar year, it is expected to have an extremely successful 2015 close. All indications are that the company will also have a record breaking 2016, with orders for Cladding Power Stripper, Pump Combiner, Pump and Signal Combiner, and Mode Field Adapter components at al all time high so far.

Speaking on the near and medium term outlook for the industries its serves, primarily telecommunications, optical character recognition, optical computing/data storage and other photonics component users; a company spokesperson indicated that the world is seeing a significant growth in these industries.

Because of weak global economic environment of the past several years, businesses were reluctant to commit any significant capital in upgrades or expansion for their operations. With global economies now poised to rebound later this year, DK Photonics sees customers and potential clients now placing orders for components like Cladding Power Stripper, Pump Combiner, Pump and Signal Combiner, and Mode Field Adapter solutions.

“While not every designer and manufacturer in the Photonics space is as fortunate as our company is, we see global demand for our products steadily rising over the next few years”, the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson noted that, while many of its competitors had drastically downsized their operations during the past few years, mainly due to the economic downturn, DK Photonics had the vision and foresight to continue robust investment in its in-house R&D initiatives.

“We knew that eventually, consumers of our products, such as Cladding Power Stripper, Pump Combiner, Pump and Signal Combiner, and Mode Field Adapter solutions, would need our support when the market started turning around.”

It was with that vision in mind that CEO Dr. Liu insisted that technologies at the company’s 13,900 square foot manufacturing facility be upgraded and enhanced.

A prime example is DK Photonics’s Pump Combiner, and Pump and Signal Combiner production capabilities. These products are designed to support high-power laser applications, and can be leveraged to harness the combined power of multiple applications for the telecom, medical, military and industrial customers.

The spokesperson noted that, because of the company’s continued investment in R&D, and its foresight to position itself for the coming hike in demand, it can now provide its clients over 100 types of combiner configurations.

The company now has 12 fiber conic machines in place that can be ramped up to meet any level of demand that customers require. The spokes person continued, “As well, depending on customer demand, the company has also invested heavily so that it can meet Cladding Power Stripper and Mode Field Adapter requirements”.
