Ticket Down is a reputable source of authentic New York Mets World Series tickets. The New York Mets (NYM) last won a World Series in 1986 when they beat Bill Buckner and the Boston Red Sox and last appeared in the World Series in 2000 when they lost to the New York Yankees in the Subway Series.
This season they will compete against either the Kansas City Royals or the Toronto Blue Jays as they hope to win their third World Series title in five chances. The home games at Citi Field will be on Friday, October 30th (10/30/15), Saturday, October 31st (10/31/15) and Sunday, November 1st (11/1/15). During the regular season the Mets were thought of as the second best team in the NL East. It took some time for them to overtake the Washington Nationals but they did just that on their way to winning their first NL East title since 2006 when they last competed in the NL Championship Series. The young talent in their starting rotation is something that was obvious from the start of Spring Training and as the season went on, they only got better.
Despite the drama surrounding Matt Harvey and his inning limit, he still went 13-8 with a 2.71 ERA. They also got solid performances throughout the year from Jacob DeGrom who was 14-8 with a 2.54 ERA, Noah Syndergaard who was 9-7 with a 3.24 ERA, and they also got a solid season out of the ageless Bartolo Colon who also won 14 games.
In the postseason, there has been a lot of DeGrom and left handed second baseman Daniel Murphy. DeGrom helped lead the Mets past both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs on their way to the World Series and Murphy has turned into the new Mr. October with seven home runs in his first nine postseason games.
