First, it has to be easier to use than swiping a credit card at the gas pump. Secondly, it has to be more secure than paying with your credit card. Thirdly, consumers have to be incentivized to adopt a new payment method.”
He continued by speaking about what P97 is doing to address this by stating, “Our mobile platform provides a simple application that consumers can download to their mobile phone to pay. Further, it provides incentives for merchants such as lower transaction fees if they accept mobile payments. It also provides rewards and discounts to consumers that download the app and pay with it.”
